It was rarely seen collision. While the other competitors implemented the decor tonight, home jumper Arijana Friedrich and our record holder afforded the unusual competition to us.
The German acted safely and decisively, starting at 190 cm. She made the next jump only at 2 m. Blanka had a start on the standard 186 cm, continued successfully on 190 and 194 cm. She jumped over 197 cm in the second attempt and went into the lead. Both mastered 2 meters at the second attempt which brought lead to the German in the standings. Arijana jumps over 203 cm in the first attempt and places a new personal record. Blanka crashes and transfers two other attempts to the next height - 205 cm.

This evening was reserved for Friedrich, who, in the first attempt, jumps over the 205 cm setting forward her personal record again. But neither Blanka gives in and she skips 205 cm in the first attempt, leaving the possibility of resolution of the winner at 207 cm. Although Blanka crashed in all three attempts, as Arijana, her attempts were with more quality, but the victory belonged to the German.

"My only problem was that I was not fresh. I'm not sorry for the second place, but for not jumping over 207 cm." said Blanka immediately after the event , which was the fourth competition in 12 days for her, while the tonight's winner had two competitions in the same number of days. By jumping over 205 cm by Blanka equaled hers and croatian indoor record, which was first achieved 2006 in Banska Bystrica, confirmed 2008 in Wenhajm, and now in Karlsruhe.  Both tonight's rivals broke out on the forehead of this years world's achievements, and broke down seventeen years old meeting record of Heike Henkel.

With maximum effort of the manager of Split high jumping meeting and Blanka's manager of the meeting, Mr. Harold Edletzberger, Arijana Friedrich will not come to Split on 21st of February. However, on saturday at Spaladium arena, herself among her people, Blanka will attempt to move her achievements.
