Paris /FRA/ - The Golden Ligue

By putting in the file the fourth victory at the Golden Leagues, on the very demanding groundwork of the Stade de France, Blanka leaves Paris satisfied.

It was a competition fraught with cold, rain and wind, and our record-holder decided to jump in the leggings. Just before warming up it started to rain, but in the meantime, the groundwork dried up, so the start of the competition was in the almost normal conditions.

"I didn’t want to miss any height, although the schedule was pretty thick up to two meters, because I knew if the rainstorm, which they predicted around 8 pm, started, it would be hard to catch up. Thus, I provided a good rhythm of the adjustment to the groundfloor.

I missed 201 to try 203 cm, because I was interested in the meeting record, but also to advance the rain, which was getting harder. I am pleased by the fact that I felt very good. ", - said Blanka after the event.

Russian Chicherova, with the personal record of the season, 197 cm, took the second place, and shown that she is on track to return to her standard flights over 2 m, while Italian Di Martino was third with the same result.

Blanka’s next destination is London on the 24th of July.
