Hall was loaded with more than 3000 cheerful fans, and for more than a thousand people there were no seats inside. The audience applauded rhythmically on each competitors' running, especially Blanka's approaches to the batten, and celebrated with the eruption of delight, her every successful jump.
Although Russians Svetlana Shkolina and Victoria Kljugina achieved enviable result jumping 198 cm and occupying the second and third place, not even in one moment, the victory of our record-holder did not come into question. Later that night, Croatian Athletic Federation prepared the awards ceremony for the best athletes and gymnasts and their coaches in the last year, in a famous meeting place of the Rijeka, El Rio.
