204 cm was enough for best Croatian athlete to assure the first place on the 17th Europa SC High Jump competition, and to give the audience a spectacle of attack on the world record.

"I steped by the set plan: 2 m jump, then 204, and then the attempt on the world record," said Blanka summarizing: "I wanted to jump over 209, but I probably wanted it a little more than necessary.“

Competition fell of at 198 cm, and Ema Green failed to boost our strong record holder, although she achieved the best result of the season, 195 cm.
 

Today, Blanka, Bojan Marinovic and the manager Harold Edletzberger travel to Doha where the immediate preparations for the World Indoor Championships will begin.

On the 10th of March, the second part of Blanka's team, Josko Vlasic, dr.Bruno Luksic and physiotherapist Joško Gerzelj, will travel to Qatar.
