Everyone knows that Blanka performs gladly and frequently. How could she, otherwise, reach the impressive number of 90 appearances with jumps over 2 meters and 143 of them over the border?

In this sense, the only current world record holder, the Bulgarian Konstadinova, has a better numbers than her.
If the health serves her and this pace continues, around the Olympic 2012th, she could overtake the legendary Stefka.
The third jumper, retired Swedish Berqvist, is in third place with 52 appearances and 70 rebounds over the magic border. The other current jumpers are far below these figures.

We recognize that everyone has their own way to prepare themselves, and their "ideal" number of appearances. In this sense, we do not like to patronize anyone, as we don't like anyone to "stick their noses“ in our approach. The numbers and titles, the duration at the highest level, constant results, speak better than any speculation.

The figures are at Blanka's side, because she lasts for ten years at the very top of the world. She lasts, but the other jumpers come and go ...
We recognize that everyone has their own way and we have always respected that, but we can not accept the fact that Tia Helebaut is setting conditions that she would compete in Madrid on 2nd of July, only if Blanka will not jump on this competition.

Blanka will not compete in Thessaloniki and she  wanted to link Madrid and Barcelona, on the 2nd and 9th of July, already two months ago.
Then, the  director of Madrid said that Madrid has no money and tried to distract Blanka. This fact was not an obstacle for Blanka as she wanted to jump, but then the masks fell down and revealed that Blanka is not desirable in Madrid.

And what has Blanka shown in Madrid so far: in the year 2007 she set a meeting record with 205 cm, a year after, she jumped a centimeter more, 206, and she was received in the City Hall by the mayor.

This is not the first time that a particular high jump "stars" put themselves this way: the German Ariane Friedrich asked for an identical condition so that she would perform in Karsruhe, Germany, last winter.

On the other side, Blanka never had any terms, conditions, and the door of the Zagreb meeting, Spaladium Arena in Split, as well as any competition in the world, as far as she is concerned, are open to all jumpers who deserve to participate according to their rating.
